Summary
- Provides that the minimum parking requirements in the land use regulations of cities and counties:
- may not require garages and carports for residential development;
- provide that parking spaces that count towards requirements may be enclosed or unenclosed;
- must count parking spaces in tandem at a rate of one space for every 20 linear feet for requirements;
- must not require spaces to exceed 80 feet by 20 feet; and must count certain other spaces to meet requirements.
- Provides an exception for portions of cities within a one-mile radius of a commercial airport with at least 9,000,000 annual enplanements.
