Summary
- Establishes the Community Revitalization Grant Program within the Division of Creative Industries in the Office of Economic Development. The grant program provides funding for projects across the state intended to create or revitalize mixed-use commercial centers and is designed to support creative projects that combine revitalized or newly constructed commercial space with public or community spaces.
- In awarding grants under the program, preference is given to projects based on the prioritization factors enumerated in the act. All grants awarded under this section must be encumbered no later than December 31, 2022. Workforce housing projects are eligible for consideration, and preference is given to projects that incorporate sustainable affordable housing elements.
