Summary
- Removes a requirement that a municipal authority responsible for approving plats hold a public hearing before recording the replat of a subdivision or part of a subdivision without vacation of the plat.
- Retains the requirement for a public hearing by the municipal planning commission or governing body of the municipality if a proposed replat requires a variance or exception. Adds requirement for the municipality to notify owners of lots in the original subdivision within 200 feet of the lots to be replatted within 15 days of approval of the replat.
