Summary
- Requires local government to act on requests for permits related to development of a residential, multifamily, commercial or industrial improvement within 60 days by approval, denial, or request for revision. If no action is made, there is an automatic approval. The local government cannot deny a request for a permit if the permit requires necessary requirements, and cannot impose additional requirements if the permit is automatically approved. Local governments must also provide written notice for denying a request and extending the time period, all with stated reasons.
