Summary
- Modifies the limitations that may be placed on land use applications by municipalities. All municipal land use decisions shall be in conformance with the locally adopted municipal comprehensive plan, except if that plan has not been updated and readopted within twelve years. For any moratorium related to the submission, review or approval of any land use application covered by the relevant subsection, such moratorium must be related to a legitimate governmental interest taking into account the need for additional housing units in the community.
