Summary
- Requires cities, counties, and special districts to maintain on their websites a current schedule of fees, exactions, and affordability requirements applicable to housing development projects; all zoning ordinances and development standards specified by parcel; lists of information required from development project applicants; annual fee or financial reports; and an archive of impact fee nexus studies and cost of service studies.
- Requires HCD, for each revision of the California Statewide Housing Plan on or after January 1, 2020, to develop a 10-year housing data strategy through a workgroup including representatives from the Department of Technology, metropolitan planning organizations, local governments, academic institutions, and nonprofits, covering data priorities, consistent statewide housing data terminology, and assessment of annual progress report data quality.
