By the Numbers: Concentrated Poverty

An event presented by the NYU Furman Center in conjunction with the release of the State of New York City’s Housing and Neighborhoods in 2016 report.

This year’s forum will focus on poverty and its spatial concentration, including recent changes in poverty across New York City’s neighborhoods and demographic groups. The panel will discuss trends in New York City, how they compare to the experiences of other cities, and strategies for addressing concentrated poverty and its effects.
