Summary
- Authorizes Community Reinvestment Agencies to levy a property tax on property within the agency’s boundaries if they enter into an interlocal agreement with an eligible taxing entity.
- Requires Community Reinvestment Agencies that levy a property tax to allocate a portion of revenue equal to its housing allocation for affordable housing and allows such agencies that levy a property tax to use eminent domain for urban renewal or community reinvestment projects.
