Summary
- Allows Community Reinvestment Agencies to use money from the Olene Walker Housing Loan Fund to acquire, construct, or rehabilitate income targeted housing outside of a community if located along or near a major transit investment corridor that services the community and allowing agencies to combine housing allocations if they execute an interlocal agreement.
- Allows a qualified taxpayer to assign a special low-income housing tax credit certificate to another person through written notice to the Utah Housing Corporation.
- Appropriates $10,000,000 to the Olene Walker Housing Loan Fund, with up to $5,000,000 for gap financing of private activity bond financed multi-family housing and up to $5,000,000 for matching private dollars for the preservation or construction of affordable housing units for low-income individuals.
