Summary
- This act removes a protest provision that provided that if real property owners representing 50% of the titled property ownership in the district protest the establishment of the district within 90 days of its creation, the board of county commissioners may not create the district, and such an area could not be included in a zoning district petition under this section for a period of 1 year.
- It also creates a referendum procedure to terminate a citizen-initiated zoning district upon petition of 20% or more of the real property owners in the zoning district.
