Summary
- Resolves a discrepancy between two existing subsections of the general statutes about vesting of rights and projects that require multiple local development permits.
- Clarifies that, in keeping with the Constitution and state and federal law, when city zoning ordinances require a greater side or width of yards or courts, a lower height of a building, a fewer number of stories, or a greater percentage of a lot to be left unoccupied, or impose other higher standards than required in other statutes or local ordinances, the local land use ordinances govern.
