Summary
- Section 3 allows Metro counties to plan for the housing needs of Metro urbanizable lands using intergovernmental agreements, in a housing production strategy or to accommodate needed housing.
- Section 7 and 8 allows a housing developer with a pending application for a permit, limited land use decision or zone change relating to opt-in to amended local land use regulations that become operative while their application is pending.
- Section 10 allows vacant parcels of partitioned land to be further divided into at most three parcels through a middle housing land division, with specific conditions.
- Section 25 allows a city to administratively approve or terminate the property tax exemption for single-unit housing.
