Summary
- Repeals a requirement that the Department of Housing and Community Development identify certain property as suitable for use or redevelopment.
- The Department is also expressly prohibited from identifying property outside of priority funding areas for use or redevelopment as affordable housing.
- If the Department does designate a site for affordable housing, this law adds a requirement that it consider the property’s size, access to public utilities, ingress and egress, and other unspecified factors.
