Summary
- Prohibits local governments from imposing linkage fees on new construction for the purpose of offsetting the cost or rent of any unit of residential housing. The prohibition does not apply to certain affordable housing and property tax abatement programs or to measures that permit the voluntary payment of a fee in lieu of other consideration to a political subdivision in connection with the issuance of a zoning waiver.
