Summary
- Provides that municipal ordinances may provide for a procedure under which a proposed land use not specifically authorized in regulations may be presented by a property owner to the zoning board of review for evaluation. If the proposed use is deemed similar in type, character, and intensity to a permitted use, the proposed use may be permitted.
- Adds an analogous provision whereby a property owner can apply for a determination that the unlisted use is allowable with a special-use permit.
