Summary
- Expands the eligibility criteria for designating certain areas as being in need of redevelopment. Adds that a municipality may determine an area to be in need of redevelopment if the area contains buildings that are used as, or were previously used as, a shopping mall, a shopping plaza, or a professional office park, and modifies the vacancy requirement to clarify that such building or buildings should have had significant vacancies for at least two consecutive years.
