Max Gordy is a Policy and Communications Graduate Researcher at the Furman Center and a Master of Urban Planning Candidate at NYU Wagner. Before starting his program at Wagner, Max lived in Los Angeles, where he worked in neighborhood & community development at the Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative and in affordable housing entitlement at Irvine & Associates. As an undergraduate, Max served in the self-help center of the LA Superior Court as a JusticeCorps student member, assisting indigent litigants in housing and family law disputes. He received his B.A. in Political Science with a Minor in Urban Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
