Brad Greenburg

Brad Greenburg is the Executive Director of the NYU Furman Center. Previously, he served as the Chief Compliance Officer and before that as a Special Counsel to the CEO for the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). At NYCHA, Brad helped manage the Authority’s work under its Agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and HUD. Brad also led negotiations to secure new sources of capital for NYCHA from city, state and federal partners and he managed a project to reform NYCHA’s housing court practices, among many other tasks. Brad is an expert on HUD’s regulations governing federal subsidy programs, including the RAD program, the voucher program and public housing.

Before his work at NYCHA, Brad was an Associate at the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where his practice focused on transactional real estate and urban development work. Prior to that, he served in a number of roles, including as Legislative Director for Congressman David Cicilline.

Brad holds a BA from Brown University and a JD magna cum laude from NYU School of Law. During his time at the law school, Brad served as a legal research assistant at the NYU Furman Center.

He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two kids.
