Tianfang (Tom) Cui is a Research Affiliate whose research covers topics in public and urban economics. Tom’s work measures which policies matter most to drive housing supply and demand. As housing affordability becomes a policy priority, he also analyzes how competing local interests form political constraints on housing development. Tom received his PhD in Applied Economics at the Wharton School and his B.A. and M.A. in Economics at Northwestern University.
