Summary
- Revises certain definitions, including expanding “minor land developments,” which have less onerous requirements, to include projects up to nine lots or units rather than five.
- Requires the administrative officer to advise the applicant as to which category of approval is required for the project. An applicant shall not be required to obtain both land development and development plan review for the same project.
- Requires that, in regulating land development projects, ordinances adopted pursuant to this chapter shall include provisions for different zoning incentives, including but not limited to adjusted lot density and dimensional standards where open space will be permanently set aside for public use and/or where housing for low and moderate income families is to be provided.
