Summary

  • Allows the composition of a development impact fee advisory committee to be set as provided in an intergovernmental agreement. Intergovernmental agreements between governmental entities and 2 districts identified in section 67-8204A, Idaho Code, shall provide for the establishment of a development impact fee advisory committee, and the nomination and membership of such committee shall be in compliance with the provisions of this section.
  • Allows an existing planning or planning and zoning commission to serve as the development impact fee advisory committee if the commission includes two or more members who are active in the business of development, building, or real estate and as long as two members who are not employees or officials of a governmental entity are appointed to the committee. The bill’s requirements apply to any new appointments or reappointments to a committee on and after July 1, 2023.
