- Requires the Department of Housing and Community Development to review adopted housing elements or amendments within 60 days, rather than 90, and report findings to the local planning agency.
- Expands notification requirements under which the Department of Housing and Community Development must notify cities or counties (or the Attorney General) regarding violations of various housing laws, including provisions related to ministerial approval of accessory dwelling units, other ministerial approvals, housing developments on educational or religious land, housing developments that require demolition of residential units, prohibitions against imposition of certain objective zoning, subdivision, or design standards, or required issuances of building permits.
