Summary
- Requires each state agency and state institution of higher education to submit to the Capital Development Committee, by October 15, 2019, a list of all non-developed real property owned by or under the control of the agency or institution, and to update the list by October 15 of each year thereafter; requires the Capital Development Committee to include this information in an annual report published on the General Assembly’s website.
- Modifies the administration of an existing property tax exemption for certain affordable housing developments by directing the administrator, upon finding that income has been distributed or made available for distribution, or that the residential property has been sold or otherwise disposed of, to revoke the property tax exemption as of the date income becomes available for distribution or terminate the exemption as of the date the property is transferred. The act applies to property tax years commencing on or after January 1, 2019.
