Discussions on Density

On Tuesday, May 5th, over 350 people gathered at the NYU School of Law for the NYU Furman Center’s forum, By the Numbers: Discussions on Density. The event was presented in conjunction with the release of the State of New York City’s Housing and Neighborhoods in 2014 report.

The forum featured an introductory welcome by Mark Willis, executive director of the NYU Furman Center, and Sherry Glied, Dean of the NYU Wagner School of Public Service. Ingrid Gould Ellen, faculty director of the NYU Furman Center, presented the research findings from the State of New York City’s Housing & Neighborhoods in 2014.

Following the research presentation, there was a panel discussing the findings and the topic of density more generally.
